Day 8

So for the past few days I've been working on editing the second part to my story. Its been tedious work, but the first page, which i read to the class the other day, is pretty well finished...for now. I'm starting to get somewhere on the second page, its shaping up. I'm starting to realize that the first words i place down are going to get completely changed half the time, but as long as i write something the first time I'll have something to work with...right?

Day 7

For the last few days and nights I've been writing, thats about it. I've finished what one could call a chapter, but i don't want to label it, and have started another. I really like where it's going.

day6

Story ideas are flowing. Basic summery of what I've got off of my fall term story. The main character, Jayne, wakes up in 1885 on the land the well he fell into was on, and is discovered by a family that lives there. He learns from the woman who finds him of the land being "cursed." thats about as far as i got. I want to bring back the owl from the first story, and i for see killing off all the characters over the story. I like where its going.

Day 5

So I just sat down today in front of a computer and wrote for the whole class. Pumped out two pages, and they need work but I like where its going. Tonight will be revising it a bit.

day 3 and 4

So i forgot to post yesterday, oh well.
Last few days in class I've done a little writing and I read a little out of What the Living Do, but I'm starting to rethink my proposal. My original idea is starting to bug me, and after rereading my short story from the fall i'm starting to think that I'd like to write a second part to that. There are a few questions, at least in my head, left unanswered that I'd like to explore with that.

Day2

Finished my proposal in class because I didn't finish it the night before so I didn't get to work on much in class. Oh well.

Just finished typing a poem related to my story. Also reread my last poems from winter term that inspired my story idea.

Day 1

Spend last class rereading Forky.
Spend the weekend wandering the woods and taking notes on ideas.
